I am not very experienced with illustrator and therefor found this whole exercise rather frustrating.
I had to resort to using patterns with the shape tool as apposed to the pen tool like other members of the class due to my lack of skill and experience with the tool.
The rest of the exercise was slightly less frustrating 3D text was easy to get a hang of as well as the key shortcuts on the shape tool which can be used to create many shapes at once.
Layer clipping masks were not too difficult to get a hold of either.
the exercise has taught me quite a bit about illustrator but the pen tool still needs to be worked on if I am to improve overall with my development in digital design
